We are representing a confidential investment banking client in Paris seeking an experienced C++ Developer to join their front office technology team. This is a high-impact role working on mission-critical trading systems that support real-time risk calculations and market data distribution.

Our client operates at the intersection of finance and cutting-edge technology, where performance optimization and low-latency systems are paramount. You'll contribute to a core booking application that serves trading desks, risk management, accounting, and back office operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features for a central front office booking application that provides real-time positioning and risk calculations
• Optimize code for maximum performance, focusing on multithreading and latency reduction
• Collaborate with front office teams and various client departments including risk management, accounting, and back office
• Work on technically challenging problems involving performance tuning, concurrency, and real-time data processing
• Contribute to the evolution of critical trading infrastructure used daily by market participants

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school or university
• Strong expertise in C++ (C++17 environment), multithreading, and performance optimization
• Solid understanding of development best practices including SOLID principles and unit testing
• Experience developing mission-critical systems and real-time data stream processing
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Interest in capital markets and trading systems (finance experience is a plus)
• Passion for high-performance, low-latency systems
