Senior Solutions Architect, MSP

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential data storage and platform organization in their search for a Senior Solutions Architect, MSP. This is a remote role based in the United Kingdom, offering the opportunity to build a managed service provider practice from the ground up.

You'll serve as the technical architect defining how our client engages with MSPs globally, working directly with partner architects and end customers to design multi-tenant solutions, model unit economics, and close strategic deals. This is a builder's role—there's no inherited playbook, just the opportunity to create one through real-world wins.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical ownership of MSP opportunities from discovery through solution design, sizing, competitive positioning, proof-of-concepts, and technical close
• Define end-to-end service architectures including multi-tenancy models, automation frameworks, provisioning workflows, and operational integration into MSP technology stacks
• Model and influence commercial constructs: unit economics, cost-per-tenant analysis, and consumption-based pricing models
• Position the full data platform portfolio—including block, file, object storage, container-native solutions, and data intelligence capabilities—while displacing competitors in MSP environments
• Build technical credibility with MSP architects, practice leads, and CTOs, cultivating a network of partner-side technical champions
• Contribute to the global MSP program by feeding real-world requirements back to product teams and creating reusable assets such as reference architectures, sizing guides, and service blueprints
• Work primarily from the London office in compliance with client policies, with flexibility for approved travel and leave

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in pre-sales, solutions architecture, or technical leadership roles with a proven track record of winning partner-led business
• Direct, hands-on experience working with managed service providers, including deep understanding of how MSPs build, price, operate, and sell managed services
• Technical depth across modern data platform architecture: block, file and object storage, hybrid and cloud data services, Kubernetes environments, and storage-as-a-service models
• Commercial fluency with the ability to discuss consumption economics, total cost of ownership, and margin models with MSP finance and practice leadership
• Outstanding communication skills—written, diagrammatic, and verbal—with executive presence to transition seamlessly between CTO-level strategy discussions and detailed whiteboard technical sessions
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity; you're energized by building new practices rather than inheriting established ones
