Mobile Developer (Android)

Mindera is hiring a Mobile Developer (Android) for a remote position serving our operations in Morocco. We're seeking a skilled Android engineer to build and maintain high-quality mobile applications for our growing platform.

About the Role

As an Android Mobile Developer at Mindera, you'll own the design, development, and optimization of mobile applications that serve users across North Africa and beyond. You'll work directly with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to bring thoughtfully designed, user-focused experiences to life. This is a full-time, remote opportunity where your technical expertise will directly shape the quality and reach of our mobile products.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and modern Android frameworks
• Write clean, testable code and actively participate in peer reviews to maintain quality standards
• Debug, profile, and optimize applications for performance, memory efficiency, and user experience
• Integrate backend APIs and implement features according to specifications and design requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and prioritize development work
• Contribute to architectural decisions and stay current with Android best practices

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience developing production Android applications using native development
• Strong proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages
• Solid understanding of Android architecture patterns, UI lifecycle management, and best practices
• Comfortable working with version control systems and remote team collaboration tools
• Ability to debug complex issues and write clear, maintainable code independently
• Strong communication skills and comfort working asynchronously in distributed team settings
