Building Maintenance Crew Member

Sheridan Hills is seeking a full-time Building Maintenance Crew Member to join our team in Hillcrest, Broward County. In this hands-on role, you'll maintain, repair, and improve our facilities through skilled trades work and dedicated facility care.

About This Position

Our facilities depend on reliable, versatile maintenance professionals. As a Building Maintenance Crew Member, you'll perform essential upkeep and renovation work across all building systems and grounds. This is a full-time position that requires a self-directed technician capable of moving between different types of repairs and preventive maintenance throughout each week.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and renovations on building structures, components, and systems
• Install new equipment and maintain existing equipment and machinery
• Conduct plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting work as needed
• Execute general grounds maintenance and landscaping care
• Provide daily custodial support to keep facilities clean and organized
• Inspect systems and equipment to identify maintenance needs
• Document work completed and materials used

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in at least two skilled trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, painting, or similar)
• Ability to operate hand tools and power equipment safely
• Physical capability to lift, climb, and work at heights
• Strong attention to detail and quality of work
• Reliable transportation to Hillcrest, Broward County
• Willingness to learn and adapt to various maintenance tasks
