Position Summary
The Boston Neighborhood Basketball League is seeking a dedicated part-time official to support competitive and recreational basketball play across Boston's neighborhoods. This position is essential to delivering quality sports programming that brings residents together and strengthens community bonds. You'll work directly with league participants, parents, and fellow staff to ensure games run safely, fairly, and with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the court and scorers' table before each game
- Operate the scoreboard and maintain accurate game records in the scorebook
- Assist with court management and ensure smooth game operations
- Clean and secure equipment after games conclude
