Quality Control Manager (Remote)

Maximus is seeking a Quality Control Manager for a full-time remote position based in Wilmington, New Hanover County. Lead comprehensive quality operations and drive continuous improvements that strengthen organizational performance.

You'll direct comprehensive quality control operations for a team committed to delivering excellence. This role offers the opportunity to establish quality management systems that align with contractual requirements while creating pathways for meaningful operational improvements. You'll combine strategic thinking with operational expertise to ensure services consistently meet stakeholder expectations.

Your Responsibilities

• Direct all quality operations including strategic planning, implementation oversight, monitoring, and comprehensive reporting
• Build and maintain quality management systems designed to achieve contract-driven key performance indicators
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and lead implementation of solutions across departments
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements through rigorous monitoring
• Develop and enforce quality assurance protocols and documentation practices
• Partner with operational teams to investigate quality issues and implement preventive measures
• Track and analyze quality metrics to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement efforts

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing quality assurance, quality control, or related compliance operations
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, frameworks, and industry best practices
• Demonstrated ability to develop and oversee management systems that drive measurable results
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail
• Leadership experience with the ability to guide and develop team members
• Proficiency with performance metrics, KPIs, and data analysis
• Self-motivated professional comfortable working independently in a remote setting
