What This Role Involves

As a Research Assistant in our Epidemiology program, you'll be essential to the success of ongoing research studies. Working in close partnership with principal investigators and the Program for Implementation and Equity Research, you'll support studies in areas including HIV implementation research and other epidemiological investigations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee data collection procedures across research studies
  • Organize and maintain research datasets according to project protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Implement data management systems and quality assurance processes
  • Collaborate with principal investigators and research team members on study timelines and milestones
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of research activities
  • Support data analysis preparation and study reporting

Who We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in epidemiology, public health, biostatistics, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Demonstrated experience with data management, research coordination, or related functions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
  • Proficiency with database and spreadsheet software
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse research teams
