Sanitation Team Leader

Mondelez International is seeking a Sanitation Team Leader to lead operations at our Capitol, Richmond facility. In this full-time leadership role, you'll manage a dedicated team ensuring our production environment meets the highest sanitation, food safety, and operational standards that define our commitment to quality snacking.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll establish yourself as the technical authority at the production line level, driving your sanitation team's performance and business results. You'll be accountable for upholding food safety, sanitation, and quality standards while identifying and executing improvements through daily planning and problem-solving. Your leadership directly impacts production efficiency, team engagement, and the operational excellence that makes Mondelez International a trusted global brand.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and develop your sanitation team to consistently meet facility performance standards and operational targets
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and quality assurance requirements
• Plan, execute, and measure improvements to drive sustained operational performance and efficiency
• Set team priorities, allocate resources effectively, and maintain accountability for results
• Demonstrate and instill technical expertise in sanitation procedures, line cleaning, and facility maintenance
• Partner with production, quality, and safety teams to support seamless line operations

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing, production, or food processing environments
• Strong working knowledge of sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
• Technical competency in production line operations and continuous improvement practices
• Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and execute in a fast-paced operational setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams
• Commitment to safety, quality, and accountability in all facility operations
