About the Role

As a Senior Video Journalist with international focus, you'll develop, shoot, and produce original video content that brings global stories to life. Your Responsibilities

  • Produce, edit, and package video content for web, mobile, social, and audio platforms, optimizing for each format's distinct audience
  • Collaborate with reporters, editors, photographers, and other journalists to develop multimedia storytelling that deepens reader understanding
  • Manage fast-paced editorial workflows while meeting publication deadlines across time zones and challenging field conditions
  • Contribute story ideas and visual perspectives during editorial planning and strategy discussions
  • Maintain technical proficiency with video equipment, editing software, and emerging production tools

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience as a video journalist, producer, or cinematographer, with demonstrated expertise in international reporting
  • Strong editorial judgment and ability to identify newsworthy stories with visual impact and human resonance
  • Proficiency in video shooting, editing, and production using industry-standard equipment and software
  • Ability to work independently in unfamiliar and potentially unstable international environments
  • Excellent storytelling skills and eye for visual composition and narrative structure
  • Flexibility to travel internationally on short notice and adapt to changing assignments
