Position Summary
As a ServiceNow Admin/Developer, you'll take ownership of our ServiceNow instance, balancing hands-on platform administration with custom application development. Your work ensures reliable service delivery across the enterprise while driving continuous improvement through configuration enhancements and workflow optimization. You'll partner with business teams to understand operational needs and translate them into secure, scalable solutions that grow with the organization.
Core Duties
- Administer and configure ServiceNow platform instances, including user management, access controls, and system settings
- Develop custom features and extensions using ServiceNow development tools and scripting capabilities
- Design and implement workflows that automate business processes and improve operational efficiency
- Monitor platform health and performance, identifying optimization opportunities and resolving issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Maintain documentation of configurations, customizations, and system architecture
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience administering and developing within ServiceNow
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities, modules, and best practices
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting and development tools (JavaScript, GlideScript, or similar)
- Experience configuring workflows, business rules, and automation
- Ability to design secure, scalable solutions that meet enterprise standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
