JR Project Manager

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for someone ready to grow in enterprise IT project coordination. You'll support the delivery of high-impact initiatives within a university technology environment, bridging communication between the Office of IT and academic departments. Working across all project phases, you'll help ensure initiatives stay aligned with organizational goals, stakeholder expectations, and technical requirements. This position builds foundational project management expertise while contributing directly to campus technology success.

Core Duties

• Coordinate enterprise IT projects from planning through completion, supporting the full project lifecycle
• Act as the primary communication channel between IT leadership and university functional teams, ensuring alignment and transparency
• Track and communicate project progress, emerging risks, scope changes, and milestone updates to all stakeholders
• Define project parameters, maintain requirement documentation, establish work priorities, and oversee quality assurance and testing activities
• Organize and lead meetings with executives, faculty, end users, solution vendors, and development teams to maintain momentum and resolve issues

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to diverse audiences
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and maintain organization across complex initiatives
• Familiarity with IT environments and enterprise software systems, or demonstrated willingness to learn quickly
• Detail-oriented approach to documentation, tracking, and follow-through
• Collaborative mindset and experience working effectively across departments or teams
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
