Position Summary

Join our healthcare team as a Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse with Jackson Nurse Professionals. This role focuses on delivering specialized cardiac care within a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. You'll provide direct patient monitoring and clinical assessment in a fast-paced, progressive care environment that prioritizes patient outcomes and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data and ECG rhythms continuously
• Assess patient vital signs, hemodynamic status, and clinical condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the clinical team
• Communicate patient status updates and clinical changes to physicians and nursing staff
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate patient records and care documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to optimize patient care plans
• Provide compassionate patient and family education regarding care and recovery

Requirements

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or compact state
• Minimum experience in telemetry monitoring and progressive care nursing
• Strong knowledge of cardiac physiology and ECG interpretation
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and medical devices
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a dynamic healthcare setting
