CATIA NC Programmer – EZ03

Axius Group seeks a full-time CATIA NC Programmer - EZ03 to join our manufacturing team in Schulte, Sedgwick County. You'll develop and optimize numerical control programs that drive precision aerospace component production, translating complex engineering specifications and CAD models into efficient, accurate machine tool paths.

What This Role Involves

As an NC Programmer, you are the link between engineering design and production floor execution. Your work ensures that aircraft and aerospace parts are machined to exact specifications through carefully programmed machine tool paths. You'll work with CATIA CAD data to create programs that balance precision, efficiency, and manufacturability, directly supporting Axius Group's aerospace customers.

Core Duties

• Develop and optimize NC programs from engineering specifications and CAD models
• Create machine tool paths for complex aerospace component manufacturing
• Analyze technical drawings and CAD data to determine optimal machining sequences
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve design-to-manufacture challenges
• Work with quality and manufacturing teams to ensure machining precision and part accuracy
• Test and verify NC programs to meet aerospace standards and customer requirements
• Troubleshoot programming issues and implement improvements for efficiency

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in CATIA or equivalent CAD/CAM software
• Demonstrated experience programming NC machine tools
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Strong understanding of machining processes and tool geometry
• Attention to detail and commitment to precision
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred
