MC Resident Caregiver – Part Time

What This Role Involves

As a Memory Care Resident Caregiver with Watercrest Senior Living, you'll provide direct personal care and support to seniors living in our memory care community. This role is essential to maintaining our residents' dignity, safety, and quality of life while they navigate their unique care needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Support residents during mealtimes and help with eating as needed
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
• Help maintain residents' rooms and immediate living spaces
• Respond promptly to residents' requests and needs throughout your shift
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other team members to ensure coordinated care
• Report observations and concerns about resident health and wellbeing to supervisory staff
• Follow all facility protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment

• Ability to work part-time as scheduled
• Physical stamina to assist residents with mobility and daily tasks
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Patient, respectful approach to residents with memory challenges
• Willingness to follow facility policies and care protocols
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior care experience a plus, though we welcome dedicated individuals new to the field
