About This Position

The Facilities Manager at Edgewater Health plays a vital role in ensuring that every facility operates safely, accessibly, and in full compliance with FQHC/HRSA requirements and healthcare facility standards. You'll oversee all aspects of our physical plant operations, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, manage life safety systems, and lead emergency preparedness efforts to protect patients, staff, and visitors across all service delivery locations.

Core Duties

• Oversee daily operations of Edgewater Health facilities, ensuring compliance with FQHC/HRSA standards and applicable healthcare regulations
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to keep all building systems functioning reliably
• Manage life safety systems including fire suppression, emergency lighting, and backup power systems
• Lead emergency preparedness planning and coordinate facility response protocols
• Maintain safe, clean, and accessible environments across all service delivery sites
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and maintenance staff to address facility needs
• Document compliance activities and maintain records required by regulatory agencies

What You Bring

• Proven experience managing facility operations in a healthcare setting or similarly regulated environment
• Strong knowledge of FQHC/HRSA requirements or equivalent healthcare facility compliance standards
• Understanding of building systems, preventive maintenance, and life safety regulations
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, vendors, and maintenance teams
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance
