Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with state standards in literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies
- Build a structured, nurturing learning environment where students feel safe and supported
- Assess student progress regularly and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs
- Foster positive classroom management through clear routines and engaging activities
- Communicate with families about student progress and involve parents in learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to support school initiatives and student success
Qualifications
- Valid Texas teaching certificate or eligibility for Kindergarten instruction
- Demonstrated knowledge of early literacy and numeracy development
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning community for all students
- Ability to work collaboratively within a school community focused on student growth
