The Opportunity
This full-time position is your chance to lead maintenance and service operations at a growing multifamily apartment community. At Station at Clift Farm in Madison, Alabama, we're seeking a Service Manager who combines technical expertise with hands-on leadership. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance operations and coordinate service requests across the apartment community
- Lead and supervise maintenance staff, ensuring quality workmanship and timely task completion
- Respond to resident concerns and schedule preventive and emergency maintenance activities
- Maintain equipment inventory, manage vendor relationships, and monitor maintenance budgets
- Conduct facility inspections and perform hands-on maintenance when needed
- Ensure all maintenance operations comply with safety standards and community guidelines
Requirements
- Proven experience in apartment maintenance or facility management
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail and customer service focus
- Willingness to be on-call for emergency maintenance situations
