Service Technician

Position Summary

We're seeking a skilled, dependable Service Technician to maintain and repair systems, equipment, and facilities at our residential property in Mobile. You'll respond to maintenance requests, perform scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and ensure our residents enjoy a safe, well-maintained living environment. Your expertise and attention to detail will be critical to tenant satisfaction and property operations.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and address issues across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections to identify and resolve problems before they escalate
• Perform repairs and installations on appliances, fixtures, doors, windows, and structural components
• Maintain detailed work orders and documentation of all maintenance activities
• Keep tools, equipment, and maintenance areas clean and organized
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all property policies and local building codes
• Collaborate with property management staff to prioritize work and coordinate with vendors when specialized services are needed

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Service Technician, maintenance technician, or similar role in multifamily or commercial property
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and general repairs
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues independently
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities when interacting with residents
• Ability to manage multiple maintenance requests and prioritize work effectively
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Physical ability to perform hands-on maintenance work, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces
• Focused, dedicated, and passionate about delivering quality work
