What This Role Involves

You'll work in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment where no two days are identical. As a CNC Machinist, you'll be responsible for the complete setup and operation of CNC mills and lathes, translating technical specifications into precision parts. This role demands attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently to maintain production schedules and quality standards.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Set up and program CNC mills and lathes for varied manufacturing jobs
• Operate machinery to produce parts that meet exact specifications and tolerances
• Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments to ensure precision
• Conduct quality checks throughout the production process
• Maintain safe working conditions and follow all safety protocols
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with supervisors when needed

What You Bring

• Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and lathes
• Strong understanding of machine tolerances, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality output
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills and willingness to problem-solve
• Valid experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
