Road Ranger is hiring a full-time Maintenance professional to join our team in Archer, Sangamon County, at our Camp Butler Road location in Springfield, Illinois. Working 1st or 2nd shift, you'll play a vital role in keeping our truck stop safe, clean, and fully operational for the drivers we serve.

About This Position

This is a full-time maintenance position at one of the busiest truck stops in Illinois. You'll work either the 1st shift (overnight) or 2nd shift (evening) schedule, ensuring our facilities remain in top condition around the clock. Road Ranger values team members who take pride in their work and contribute to the welcoming environment we provide to travelers and commercial drivers.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facilities throughout the property
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and repair issues across the truck stop
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in public areas, restrooms, dining facilities, and operational spaces
• Inspect equipment and facility components regularly to identify and address potential problems
• Support the daily operations of our truck stop to ensure a quality experience for drivers and guests

What You Bring

• Experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field (or demonstrated willingness to learn and grow)
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift materials, and work from heights safely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
