The Opportunity

As our Activities Assistant and Driver, you'll play a vital role in making each day meaningful. You'll organize and lead recreational programs—from games and music to fitness and art—while also providing reliable transportation to local community events and appointments. This role combines creativity, caring, and a genuine passion for supporting an active lifestyle for older adults.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate activities such as games, music sessions, fitness classes, and arts and crafts
• Organize and participate in cultural celebrations and special events
• Arrange and provide safe transportation to community outings and appointments
• Build rapport with residents and encourage social engagement
• Maintain activity schedules and participant records
• Support residents in mobility and accessibility during events and outings
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure activities meet resident interests and abilities

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation history
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to plan, organize, and lead group activities
• Physical capability to assist residents safely
• Compassion and patience working with seniors
• Reliability and flexibility with scheduling
