What This Role Involves

As a Senior Project Manager focused on healthcare projects, you'll oversee the complete lifecycle of architectural and design initiatives from conception through delivery. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing schedules, budgets, and quality standards while ensuring alignment with healthcare industry requirements and best practices. Your leadership will coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, and clients to deliver sustainable facilities designed to enhance patient experiences and operational efficiency.

Your Responsibilities

  • Direct project teams including architects, engineers, interior designers, sustainability specialists, and external consultants
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans from initiation through closeout
  • Communicate project progress, milestones, and challenges to clients and stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, building codes, and industry-specific operational standards
  • Manage contracts, vendor relationships, and procurement activities
  • Monitor design quality, sustainability performance, and adherence to project specifications
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect schedule and budget
  • Promote collaborative, innovative approaches to solving complex healthcare facility challenges

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience managing healthcare or institutional building projects
  • Strong understanding of architectural design processes, construction methodologies, and project delivery
  • Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent leadership, written, and verbal communication abilities
  • Knowledge of healthcare facility standards, compliance requirements, and operational needs
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred
