As a Secondary Counselor, you'll play a vital role in fostering student success, well-being, and personal growth. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with middle and/or high school students in a collaborative, innovative school environment that celebrates both academic achievement and individual development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group counseling to students addressing academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs
• Develop and deliver comprehensive college and career readiness programming aligned with real-world learning outcomes
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student academic progress and personal development
• Create inclusive programming that reinforces our values of High Expectations, Creative Culture, and Belonging
• Monitor and advocate for student well-being, recognizing and responding to physical, emotional, or social concerns
• Maintain detailed student records and contribute to data-informed decision-making processes

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in school counseling, clinical mental health counseling, or related field, with appropriate state licensure or eligibility
• Demonstrated experience working in urban education settings with diverse student populations
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
• Strong commitment to equity, cultural competency, and creating a sense of belonging for all students
• Experience designing and facilitating college and career exploration activities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced school environment
