Position Summary
The Toolroom Technician I role at Brentwood Industries, Inc. combines hands-on fabrication work with structured learning and development. Working Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with guidance from experienced supervisors, you'll engage in the skilled craft of designing, building, and refining thermoform tooling systems. This position serves as a foundation for developing advanced technical competencies while contributing directly to production success across multiple industrial markets.
Core Duties
- Fabricate and assemble thermoform tooling systems for heavy gauge and thin gauge production applications
- Operate shop equipment to machine, shape, and finish tooling components to engineering specifications
- Design and build custom tooling solutions that support production requirements for diverse industrial markets
- Manufacture replacement components and conduct routine maintenance on production equipment to maintain operational continuity
- Partner with supervisors and production teams to troubleshoot tooling issues and ensure quality output
Requirements
- Availability to work the scheduled shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop expertise in tooling fabrication under general supervision
- Ability to operate shop equipment safely and learn new technical processes
- Strong attention to detail and precision in all fabrication work
