About the Role
As an Automotive Technician at St. Louis Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, you'll play a key role in keeping our customers' vehicles running smoothly. This is a full-time position working in our Service Department, where you'll tackle a variety of maintenance and repair jobs on domestic and light-duty vehicles.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using industry-standard diagnostic tools and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire service, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Execute repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and other vehicle systems
- Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Document all work performed and communicate findings clearly with service advisors and customers
- Stay current with manufacturer specifications and technical bulletins for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair procedures, and maintenance schedules
- Proficiency with diagnostic scanners, hand tools, and shop equipment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members
- Reliable transportation and availability for a full-time schedule
- ASE certification or equivalent technical training preferred
