Lab Supervisor

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a full-time Serology Lab Supervisor to lead daily operations in our Pembroke Lakes, Broward County area laboratory, supporting accurate, timely diagnostic testing that clinicians and patients depend on.

About the Role

As a Lab Supervisor with Quest Diagnostics, you will oversee the workflow of the serology laboratory and guide a team of technical professionals through each shift. This is an on-site position based in the Broward County area (Miramar work site), working a Monday-to-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role offers compensation of $90,000 per year, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus available to eligible external candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the serology laboratory to keep testing on schedule.
• Supervise, mentor, and support laboratory staff, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Maintain quality control standards and ensure results meet accuracy and reliability expectations.
• Uphold regulatory and accreditation requirements applicable to clinical laboratory operations.
• Monitor instrumentation, supplies, and processes to maintain efficient, uninterrupted workflow.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support patient care outcomes.

Qualifications

• Background in clinical laboratory science, with experience in serology testing preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a laboratory environment.
