About the Role

As a Repair and Tool Technician at Home Depot, you'll provide expert diagnostic and repair services for small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices. Whether working in our Tool Rental Centers within stores or in dedicated repair facilities, you'll ensure every piece of equipment meets our quality standards before it reaches our customers.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs on small engines, power tools, and outdoor machinery
• Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance to keep rental equipment in top operating condition
• Recommend equipment solutions to customers and support staff based on their needs
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all work performed
• Assist customers at the Tool Rental desk in selecting the right equipment for their projects
• Ensure all safety protocols and equipment regulations are met

What We're Looking For

• Experience repairing small engines or outdoor power equipment
• Proficiency with electrical tools and basic troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license preferred
