About the Role

As Medical Director of Clinical Trials in neurology, you'll provide medical oversight and scientific leadership for clinical investigations. Working within a standard Monday-through-Friday schedule, you'll combine deep neurological expertise with pharmaceutical research experience to drive trial success while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do

• Direct the medical strategy and execution of neurology clinical trials from protocol development through regulatory submissions
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, and institutional review board requirements
• Oversee patient safety monitoring, adverse event assessment, and medical decision-making throughout trial operations
• Lead multidisciplinary teams including research coordinators, clinical scientists, and regulatory specialists
• Review and approve clinical protocols, informed consent forms, and safety reports
• Collaborate with research sites, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders to achieve trial objectives
• Maintain comprehensive trial documentation and ensure data integrity across all investigations

What We're Looking For

• MD or DO with an active medical license in the United States
• Demonstrated experience as a physician in clinical trials, clinical research, or neurology practice
• Thorough knowledge of FDA regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and ICH guidelines
• Experience managing complex clinical studies and leading cross-functional research teams
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a remote work environment
• Board certification or substantial background in neurology strongly preferred
