What You'll Do

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incident alerts and notifications from federal systems
• Document incident details and communicate findings to stakeholders following established protocols
• Assist senior analysts in investigating potential security breaches and anomalies
• Support incident notification procedures, ensuring timely and accurate escalation of critical events
• Maintain secure handling of incident reports and sensitive information in compliance with federal standards
• Participate in incident response drills and contribute to process improvements
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve security events efficiently

What We're Looking For

• Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one (required)
• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Familiarity with incident response fundamentals, threat intelligence, or network security concepts
• Ability to work in a structured, compliance-focused environment and follow established procedures
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in a cybersecurity career path
• Experience with ticketing systems, SIEM platforms, or similar tools is a plus
