Perfection Commercial Services Inc. is hiring an Industrial Lead Custodian for day shift operations in Homer, Calhoun County, Michigan. This full-time position pays $22 per hour and operates Thursday through Monday, 6 AM–2 PM.
About the Role
We're looking for a physically fit Industrial Lead Custodian to manage and execute specialized custodial operations at our Homer facility. This role is demanding, hands-on work that is essential to maintaining our site's operational standards and safety protocols. You'll be working in an industrial environment where attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety are paramount.
What You'll Do
- Perform strenuous manual custodial labor including shoveling and sweeping large quantities of industrial materials
- Use and maintain specialized safety equipment, including respirators, in accordance with site requirements
- Conduct comprehensive cleanup and site preparation work
- Photograph work areas before and after project completion
- Send documentation and progress updates to team members via email
- Coordinate with your team throughout the workday to ensure safety and quality standards
- Meet physical and safety requirements for industrial custodial operations
What We're Looking For
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy manual labor throughout your shift
- Willingness and capability to work with respirators and other safety equipment
- Comfort with basic photography and email communication
- Ability to take clear direction and work collaboratively with team members
- Reliability and consistent attendance, particularly for the Thursday–Monday schedule
