U.S. Urology Partners is hiring a Healthcare Compliance Audit Analyst in the United States. This is a full-time position with our Compliance Department, dedicated to maintaining ethical and regulatory standards across our physician groups and affiliated practices.
About the Role
As a Healthcare Compliance Audit Analyst at U.S. Urology Partners, you'll be instrumental in safeguarding our organization's compliance posture. Our Compliance Department is committed to fostering a corporate culture grounded in integrity, responsible conduct, and adherence to all applicable healthcare laws and regulations. Your work will directly support our mission to deliver ethical and compliant healthcare services to patients and payers alike.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive audits of medical records, billing claims, and coding documentation to identify compliance risks and coding inaccuracies
- Review coding practices against current CMS guidelines, payer policies, and regulatory standards specific to urology services
- Generate detailed compliance audit reports documenting findings, trends, and recommendations for corrective action
- Analyze claims data to detect patterns of potential overpayment, underpayment, or regulatory violations
- Support internal training initiatives to educate clinical and administrative staff on compliance requirements and coding best practices
- Collaborate with billing, clinical, and compliance teams to implement audit recommendations and strengthen internal controls
- Maintain current knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations, Medicare Conditions of Participation, and anti-fraud and anti-abuse laws
What We're Looking For
- Active professional certification: CPC (Certified Professional Coder), CCS-P (Certified Coding Specialist – Physician-based), or CPMA (Certified Professional Medical Auditor)
- Minimum 3–5 years of healthcare coding, auditing, or compliance experience
- Deep knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems and medical necessity guidelines
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems, claims management software, and audit tools
- Strong analytical and written communication skills; ability to distill complex compliance issues into actionable insights
- Meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to data accuracy
- Understanding of healthcare reimbursement, billing workflows, and regulatory compliance frameworks
