About the Role
As an Extrusion Operator, you'll be at the heart of our production process, running extruder equipment that manufactures sealing solutions and related products. You'll be responsible for setup, operation, and real-time quality oversight to meet both our internal standards and customer specifications. This is a hands-on position that demands attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a strong safety mindset.
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate extrusion equipment according to job specifications, production schedules, and quality requirements
- Monitor equipment performance during production cycles and make real-time adjustments to maintain specifications
- Inspect finished products for defects and quality issues, documenting results accurately
- Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot equipment issues when they arise
- Verify that all safety guards and protective devices are in place and functioning properly before and during operation
- Follow all Trelleborg safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure, productive work environment
- Coordinate with supervisors and team members on production priorities and equipment concerns
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, material usage, and quality metrics
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience operating extrusion equipment or similar industrial machinery
- Strong mechanical understanding and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment problems
- Commitment to following safety procedures and best practices
- Attention to detail and quality consciousness
- Ability to read and interpret production specifications and work instructions
- Reliable, punctual work habits and willingness to support production deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
