Sales Manager

Aston Carter is hiring a Sales Manager in San Luis Obispo, San Luis Obispo County to build and grow a network of local business partners. This full-time, field-based role offers the opportunity to develop a strategic pipeline of merchant partnerships for an expanding delivery program across the Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo region.

About the Role

As Sales Manager, you'll drive the recruitment and onboarding of local businesses into a delivery partnership ecosystem. You'll spend your time in the field, meeting face-to-face with business owners and decision-makers, presenting a compelling value proposition, and guiding qualified prospects through the complete partnership enrollment process.

What You'll Do

• Identify, research, and proactively approach target businesses across San Luis Obispo County
• Conduct field meetings and professional presentations to introduce the partnership opportunity
• Assess prospect suitability and partnership fit through discovery conversations
• Navigate prospects through the application, approval, and onboarding workflow
• Develop relationships with partner businesses to support retention and referral growth
• Document all interactions, track progress, and maintain pipeline reporting in CRM systems
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless partner integration and compliance

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated success in B2B sales, business development, or partnership recruitment roles
• Comfortable in a primarily field-based, mobile role requiring regular travel within San Luis Obispo County
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities suited for varied business audiences
• Strong prospecting and qualification skills with ability to move leads through a structured process
• Resilient, self-motivated approach to activity-based work with a focus on results
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and ability to manage data accurately
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to meet business hours in the field
