About the Role
As a Personal Banker, you'll be the frontline representative for Citigroup in our Flatbush community, serving customers' everyday banking needs. Your focus will be on understanding customer goals, recommending appropriate products and services, and ensuring every interaction reflects Citigroup's commitment to quality service.
What You'll Do
- Open and maintain deposit accounts, ensuring SAFE Act compliance and accurate documentation
- Educate customers about checking, savings, and credit products tailored to their financial situation
- Process transactions, handle customer inquiries, and resolve service issues promptly
- Cross-sell financial services and loan products to increase wallet share with existing customers
- Meet agreed-upon sales and customer retention goals
- Collaborate with the customer service and lending teams to deliver coordinated support
- Maintain regulatory compliance, including SAFE Act requirements, in all customer interactions
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or banking coursework preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple customer interactions and tasks simultaneously
- Commitment to compliance, accuracy, and ethical business practices
- Reliability, positive attitude, and team-oriented approach
- Willingness to learn banking products and regulatory requirements
