NC Retail Merchandiser/Stocker

Join A & Associates as a full-time Retail Merchandiser/Stocker in North Carolina. You'll be responsible for stocking merchandise, maintaining displays, and managing inventory in retail environments, working with a reputable staffing partner that operates more than twenty offices across the United States.

About the Role

As a Retail Merchandiser/Stocker, you'll play a hands-on role in keeping retail spaces organized, fully stocked, and customer-ready. This position combines physical stocking work with inventory management responsibilities, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high merchandising standards.

What You'll Do

• Stock shelves and merchandise displays according to company standards and planograms
• Receive, process, and organize incoming shipments and freight
• Maintain clean, organized retail spaces and storage areas
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to management
• Rotate stock using FIFO (first-in, first-out) principles to ensure product quality
• Ensure product placement is accurate and visually appealing to customers
• Assist with price marking and promotional displays as directed
• Follow safety protocols and maintain professional appearance and conduct

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail setting
• Basic math skills for inventory and pricing tasks
• Teamwork orientation with a positive, professional attitude
• Previous retail, stocking, or warehouse experience is a plus
