About the Role

As a Vehicle Mechanic Assistant with Gulf Coast Blood, you'll play a critical role maintaining our fleet operations. Working under general supervision with a consistent schedule, this position requires your attention to detail and sound judgment to keep our vehicles and facilities in top condition—directly supporting our lifesaving work across Texas.

What You'll Do

• Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and cleanliness checks on our mobile blood collection vehicles
• Maintain fleet maintenance areas and motor court facilities to safety and operational standards
• Document vehicle conditions and maintenance activities with accuracy
• Support preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with supervisors and maintenance team members to resolve vehicle issues
