Janitor (Sunny Meadows)

MidPen Housing is hiring a Janitor at our Sunny Meadows community in Freedom, Santa Cruz County. In this full-time role, you'll maintain clean, safe, and welcoming residential spaces that enable our community members to thrive in affordable, dignified housing.

About the Role

As a member of our facilities team, you'll play a vital part in creating an environment where residents feel at home. Your daily work keeps our common areas, grounds, and building systems in top condition—supporting the well-being and pride of everyone who lives here.

What You'll Do

• Clean, sweep, and mop hallways, lobbies, community rooms, and other shared spaces
• Perform grounds maintenance, including landscaping upkeep and exterior cleanup
• Manage waste collection, disposal, and recycling procedures
• Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces according to health standards
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies inventory
• Respond promptly to resident requests and maintenance coordination needs
• Report safety hazards and needed repairs to management
