About the Role

This part-time position offers equivalent responsibilities to full-time Secure Detention Counselors, focusing on hands-on supervision, support, and mentorship for adolescents ages 10 to 18. You'll work in a structured detention environment where your daily presence and guidance support young people's safety and development during a critical period.

What You'll Do

• Provide hands-on oversight and mentorship for youth ages 10–18 in secure detention
• Ensure a secure, stable environment that supports both safety and adolescent well-being
• Implement facility protocols and support the Secure Detention Division's mission
• Monitor youth behavior, well-being, and progress throughout your shifts
• Complete required documentation and communicate observations to the detention team
• Collaborate with supervisors and counseling staff to support positive youth outcomes
