About the Role

As a Mechanical Journeyperson in our Lockport manufacturing operation, you'll perform skilled repair and maintenance work on production equipment and machinery. You'll work with minimal direct supervision, relying on your judgment and problem-solving ability to keep our operations running smoothly. This role demands flexibility—you'll manage multiple assignments throughout your shift and adapt to evolving facility needs.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose mechanical failures and implement effective repairs on industrial machinery and equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance using planned maintenance systems
• Apply predictive maintenance technologies to identify potential issues before they cause downtime
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical systems and develop practical solutions
• Work independently across multiple tasks and priorities within a shift
• Maintain detailed records and communicate with team members on equipment status
• Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment

What We're Looking For

• Journeyperson certification or equivalent advanced mechanical experience
• Demonstrated expertise with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Strong background in machinery repair and industrial equipment maintenance
• Familiarity with planned maintenance systems and predictive maintenance technologies
• Proven ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
