About the Role
As the Planning Support Subject Matter Expert at Saic, you'll be the functional leader establishing and maintaining planning-support rigor across your organization. You'll set the standard for what excellence looks like—from initial planning concepts through final delivery—ensuring every high-visibility product meets the organization's most demanding standards.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary technical authority for deliberate planning support and posture-related planning integration
- Define, implement, and sustain planning standards, quality gates, and governance frameworks
- Provide expert advisory to planning teams on complex, high-visibility projects
- Ensure planning products remain coherent and defensible across the organization
- Align planning initiatives with organizational guidance and strategic objectives
- Mentor and develop planning professionals through your subject-matter expertise
What We're Looking For
- Proven subject-matter expertise in operational planning, planning support, or posture analysis
- Demonstrated experience establishing standards and quality-control processes
- Strong ability to communicate complex planning concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience working in structured planning environments, ideally within government, defense, or similar sectors
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
