Graduate Respiratory Therapist – Full Time Day Shift

About the Role

As a Graduate Respiratory Therapist, you'll be part of our clinical team providing respiratory care to patients throughout the hospital. This role is designed for recent graduates of CoArc-accredited respiratory therapy programs and typically lasts up to 180 days, allowing you to build competency and confidence in a structured setting with mentorship and oversight.

What You'll Do

• Deliver respiratory therapy treatments in both medical and non-medical settings across multiple hospital departments
• Administer medicated and non-medicated aerosol and gas therapies under clinical supervision
• Support invasive and non-invasive respiratory interventions including ventilator management and airway care
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and communicate observations to the nursing and physician team
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and devices
• Document patient care activities and therapy outcomes in medical records
• Work collaboratively as part of our multidisciplinary healthcare team

What We're Looking For

• Completion of a CoArc-accredited Registered Respiratory Therapist program
• Current or pending Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Strong clinical fundamentals and foundational knowledge of respiratory physiology and pathology
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
