Surveillance Security – Mobile Patrol

GardaWorld is seeking a full‑time Surveillance Security – Mobile Patrol professional for its Wilmer, Dallas location.

About the Role

In this position you will serve as the eyes of the operation, monitoring live video feeds while also conducting mobile patrols to deter and detect security incidents. Your vigilance helps protect clients’ assets and ensures a swift response when anomalies arise.

What You'll Do

• Observe multiple camera feeds in real time, identifying suspicious activity or safety concerns.
• Perform scheduled and random mobile patrols across assigned sites, checking doors, windows, and perimeter points.
• Document observations accurately in incident logs and reports, noting timestamps and descriptions.
• Communicate findings promptly to on‑site supervisors or central dispatch via radio or phone.
• Respond to alarms or alerts, assess the situation, and initiate appropriate security protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and escorting visitors when required.
• Maintain all surveillance equipment, performing basic troubleshooting and reporting malfunctions.
• Adhere to company policies, local regulations, and client‑specific security procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Proven ability to stay focused for extended periods while monitoring video displays.
• Keen observation skills and a detail‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for clear incident reporting.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic familiarity with security technologies such as CCTV systems and access control panels.
• Valid security guard license or eligibility to obtain one in accordance with Texas state requirements.
• Physical stamina to walk or stand for long shifts and to navigate patrol routes.
• Professional demeanor and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity.
