About the Role

This position serves as the go‑to expert for maintaining the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems that keep our communities running smoothly. You’ll work closely with property teams to ensure resident satisfaction while developing advanced technical skills in a supportive environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems
• Respond promptly to resident work orders, diagnosing issues and implementing effective repairs
• Conduct unit turnovers, ensuring all systems are operational and meet quality standards before new move‑ins
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts usage, and compliance with safety regulations
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and oversee contract work
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and keep the maintenance shop organized and stocked
• Provide guidance and on‑the‑job training to junior technicians and assist with scheduling
• Participate in emergency response protocols, including after‑hours calls when required

What We're Looking For

• EPA certification or equivalent HVAC licensing; additional credentials in plumbing or electrical work are a plus
• Minimum of three years of hands‑on experience in multifamily or residential maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting ability with proficiency reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and plumbing layouts
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with residents
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record for travel between community sites
• Basic computer literacy for work order systems, email, and digital documentation
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in varied weather conditions, and adhere to safety standards
