About the Role

This field‑based position serves as the scientific bridge between Lundbeck and key opinion leaders, academic institutions, and healthcare providers specializing in movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and Huntington’s disease. You will operate independently within the Western territory, delivering high‑impact medical information that supports evidence‑based prescribing and informs future research directions.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver balanced, non‑promotional presentations on Lundbeck’s pipeline and approved therapies at advisory boards, medical conferences, and local educational events.
  • Gather real‑world evidence and unmet‑need feedback from the field to guide internal medical strategy and clinical development plans.
  • Collaborate with internal cross‑functional teams (clinical, regulatory, commercial) to ensure alignment of scientific messaging and support investigator‑initiated studies.
  • Stay current with emerging literature, guideline updates, and competitive landscape in movement disorders, sharing relevant summaries with internal stakeholders.
  • Adhere to all applicable compliance standards, including PhRMA code and internal SOPs, while representing Lundbeck in external interactions.

What We're Looking For

  • Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) in a life‑science discipline; post‑doctoral or clinical fellowship experience is a plus.
  • Minimum 3‑5 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison, medical affairs scientist, or clinical specialist within neurology or movement disorders.
  • Deep understanding of Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, dystonia, and related pathophysiology, as well as familiarity with current treatment paradigms.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including clinicians, researchers, and internal teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a track record of building trusted relationships with key opinion leaders and academic centers.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce) and data‑driven territory planning.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Western region (up to 70% of time) to engage with healthcare professionals and attend scientific meetings.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct and compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations.
