This is a full-time, exempt professional position reporting directly to the campus principal.
About the Role
The secondary mathematics teacher creates a supportive learning environment where students develop problem‑solving skills, mathematical reasoning, and confidence in the subject. What You'll Do
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons for grades 6‑12 that meet state and district standards.
- Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations, providing timely feedback to guide improvement.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles, abilities, and language needs.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and respect.

What We're Looking For
- Valid Texas teaching certification in Mathematics for secondary grades (6‑12).
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective math instruction.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to equity and inclusion.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with educational technology and data‑driven instructional tools.
