About the Role

As a Shift Supervisor you oversee daily store operations, guide baristas, and ensure every beverage meets quality standards. You serve as the main point of contact for both team members and guests, balancing people leadership with smooth store execution.

What You'll Do

• Direct shift workflow, assign responsibilities, and monitor performance to meet service targets.
• Train and coach baristas on drink preparation, customer engagement, and safety protocols.
• Maintain product freshness, manage inventory levels, and conduct routine stock checks.
• Process cash and card payments, reconcile registers, and adhere to financial controls.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly, turning feedback into opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Support scheduling adjustments, track attendance, and communicate any shift changes to the team.
• Model Starbucks values, foster a positive team atmosphere, and encourage partner development.

• Basic math proficiency for handling cash and managing inventory.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
