About the Role

In this position you serve as the primary link between vehicle owners and the service department, ensuring clear communication, accurate estimates, and a seamless experience from drop‑off to pickup. You help drive service lane efficiency and contribute to the dealership’s reputation for dependable, courteous care.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and document service requests accurately
• Prepare detailed repair orders, including labor and parts estimates, and obtain customer approval
• Coordinate with technicians and parts staff to schedule work and monitor progress
• Provide updates throughout the repair process and address any questions or changes
• Process payments, handle warranty claims, and explain completed work at vehicle delivery
• Maintain service records in the dealership management system and follow up for customer satisfaction
• Identify additional service opportunities and recommend preventive maintenance when appropriate
• Assist with lobby organization, phone coverage, and general service department support as needed

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a minimum one year background in automotive service advising, customer service, or a related dealership role
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and communicate technical information clearly
• Proficiency with dealer management software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) or willingness to learn quickly
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple repair orders and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and repair processes to facilitate accurate estimating
• Commitment to delivering a positive customer experience and adhering to dealership standards
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive training or certifications are a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
