About the Role
We're seeking an experienced paralegal to join our commercial real estate team in a collaborative, team-based environment. You'll provide essential support on sophisticated real estate transactions and matters where accuracy, legal acumen, and strong organizational skills are critical to client success.
What You'll Do
- Assist with commercial real estate transactions including purchase agreements, leases, refinancing, and title matters
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda addressing real estate issues and transaction requirements
- Coordinate with title companies, lenders, escrow agents, and other parties throughout the transaction lifecycle
- Draft, review, and revise real estate documents, correspondence, and closing materials
- Manage transaction files, maintain accurate records, and track critical dates and deadlines
- Support attorneys in due diligence, deal structuring, and client negotiations
- Ensure compliance with applicable real estate laws and closing procedures
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a real estate paralegal in a law firm environment
- Solid understanding of commercial real estate transactions, title issues, and closing procedures
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously
- Proficiency with legal software, document management systems, and title company platforms
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all work product
- Effective communicator who collaborates well with attorneys, clients, and external partners
- Professional demeanor with a proactive approach to problem-solving
