About the Role
The Noon Monitor position is a temporary, part-time appointment compensated at $19.18 per hour throughout the school calendar. You'll serve as a key presence during critical daily moments when students need attentive supervision, care, and positive role modeling during lunch, recess, and outdoor activities.
What You'll Do
- Supervise students during lunch periods and outdoor play to ensure safety and orderly conduct
- Monitor playground activities and respond promptly to behavioral or safety concerns
- Foster inclusive, respectful peer interactions and help resolve conflicts constructively
- Enforce school and playground rules consistently and with fairness
- Report incidents, injuries, or student concerns to school administration
- Support smooth transitions and crowd management between activities and periods
- Help create a welcoming environment for all students in a multilingual school community
