About the Role

The Noon Monitor position is a temporary, part-time appointment compensated at $19.18 per hour throughout the school calendar. You'll serve as a key presence during critical daily moments when students need attentive supervision, care, and positive role modeling during lunch, recess, and outdoor activities.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise students during lunch periods and outdoor play to ensure safety and orderly conduct
  • Monitor playground activities and respond promptly to behavioral or safety concerns
  • Foster inclusive, respectful peer interactions and help resolve conflicts constructively
  • Enforce school and playground rules consistently and with fairness
  • Report incidents, injuries, or student concerns to school administration
  • Support smooth transitions and crowd management between activities and periods
  • Help create a welcoming environment for all students in a multilingual school community
