About the Role
We're seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to provide direct patient care in our Nortonville clinic. You'll manage acute and chronic conditions, build meaningful patient relationships, and work alongside physicians and clinical staff in an environment that values both clinical excellence and professional development. This full-time position offers exposure to evolving healthcare protocols and modern clinical systems.
What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examination
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
- Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients on disease prevention, management, and wellness
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in electronic health records
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Stay current with clinical advances, new protocols, and technology implementation
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Nursing or related clinical discipline
- Current unrestricted state licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Current national FNP certification (ANCC or AANP)
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills
- Excellent interpersonal and patient communication abilities
